Josie Mann (Jofi) is a composer, songwriter, and vocalist.

 

Her music features layered and manipulated vocal textures weaved into chamber and electro pop, folk, and alternative.

 

A graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music where she studied composition, Josie joined the team at Sonar Music in 2022, composing for Bump Seasons 2, 3, and most recently Season 4, released on Boxing Day last year. Her other credits include the SBS Documentary Inconceivable, and SBS series Erotic Stories, composed alongside Antony Partos. TVC credits include McDonalds, Vanguard and Made by Dyslexia which received a best composition nomination at the 2023 AWARD Awards. Most recently, Josie has been included in IF Magazine’s “Rising Talent’ list for 2024.

Apart from her work for screen, Josie composed the theme track to Audiocraft’s podcast Flirties, which has been selected as a finalist in the Best Original Series or Serial for the BBC Audio Drama Awards 2024.

 

Josie also works as a vocal arranger and session vocalist, having sung on Netflix series Wellmania and Five Bedrooms in collaboration with composer Matteo Zingales, as well as films And Mrs, Being Betty Flood and A Savage Christmas with composer Jason Fernandez.

 

Josie creates songs under her artist persona Jofi. She is currently completing self-produced music for release in 2024.
